Ponds...Something for Everyone
The benefits of a well designed pond, waterfall or stream are as varied as they are numerous. A pond has a way of bringing together kids, couples and neighbors in a stress-reducing environment where relationships can flourish.

A backyard pond draws children away from TV, video games and their computers, allowing them to experience the thrill of the outdoors within the safety of their own yard. Nothing can replace the hands-on classroom atmosphere where they can observe the pond-lifecycles first hand.

Fish and frogs make for fun and interesting pets--away from the house--and they're a great way for kids to learn the responsibility of caring for pets. They are extremely forgiving if a child forgets to feed them since they are used to fending for themselves. 

Having a backyard pond is a great escape from the stress of the day without having to pack the family in the car and drive to a park. Couples can steal a few minutes, or a few hours for together time without leaving the kids.

If you enjoy entertaining, adding a barbeque grill, a fire pit or an outdoor bar will turn your backyard into an ideal outdoor hangout. While parents share a cocktail, kids can feed the fish.
